Our permanent home sits in Grazier Lane at Emu Bank — one of Canberra's most vibrant dining precincts, a short walk from Lake Ginninderra. The lane is lined with independent food businesses and has become a go-to destination for Belconnen locals and visitors looking for something more interesting than a food court.
We opened our Grazier Lane shop in 2021 after years of trading at weekend markets, and it quickly became the only dedicated Brazilian street food kitchen in the ACT. Every pastel is made fresh to order — you'll hear the sizzle before you smell it.
The location is a 5-minute walk from the Lake Ginninderra foreshore at Emu Bank — Canberra's most popular lakeside walking and cycling route. Many of our regulars stop in after a morning walk or bike ride around the lake. After your meal, the lakeside path is just down the hill.
Mr. B Pastel is Canberra's only dedicated Brazilian street food restaurant. Everything on the menu — from the crispy pastéis with their signature bubbly dough to the 12-hour slow-cooked Costela and the Brigadeiro truffles — is made from authentic Brazilian recipes brought to Canberra from São Paulo.
Street parking is available along Emu Bank and on Benjamin Way. Grazier Lane is a short walk from either street. There is also paid parking nearby at the Belconnen Town Centre.
Belconnen Town Centre interchange is the main hub, served by Rapid routes R3, R4, R7 and local buses. From the interchange, Grazier Lane at Emu Bank is about a 5–8 minute walk.
The Lake Ginninderra cycling and walking path passes directly below Grazier Lane at Emu Bank. Lock your bike at the nearby racks and it's about a 5-minute stroll up to the kitchen.
